February 28, 2021 | Black History Month Salute to Black Composers

Under the direction of Minister of Music, Everett P. Williams, Jr., Asbury United Methodist Church is blessed to present its Black History Month Musical Celebration. We remember, honor, and give thanks to God for the African American composers who brought us the sacred music that makes us distinctively the Black Church. Lift up the name of the Lord with us as we share a message in song through hymns, anthems, spirituals, and gospel songs!

Theme: “Rescued, Redeemed, Revived, and Re-Sent”
Featuring: Everett P. Williams, Jr. (Minister of Music), Stephen Key (Pianist/Assistant Director), Bonnie Burnett (soprano), David Powell (tenor), Adrienne Neal-Harris (soprano), Sharleen Bradford-Kavetski (soprano), Wayne Jennings (tenor), Kehembe Eichelberger (mezzo-soprano), and Kevin Green (bass).

10:00 AM Worship Service
Rev. Dr. Ianther M. Mills, Senior Pastor of Asbury UMC
